Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM Lens

The Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM lens is a versatile standard zoom lens specifically designed for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras with a full-frame sensor. The lens is renowned for its impressive optical performance, partly due to the constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 across the entire zoom range. This makes the lens highly suitable for various lighting conditions and for creating attractive bokeh with its nine diaphragm blades. The optical design includes three aspherical elements, including one extreme aspherical (XA) element, and two extra-low dispersion elements that minimise distortion and aberrations. A Nano AR coating reduces lens flare and ghosting, resulting in high contrast and true-to-life colours. The Direct Drive Super Sonic Wave Motor ensures fast, quiet, and precise autofocus, as well as responsive manual focus. Thanks to the weather-sealed construction, a focus hold button, and rubberised rings, operation is intuitive and comfortable, even under challenging weather conditions.
