What are cookies?

Cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, pixels) are small files placed on your device when you visit techvalon.com. TechFlow Oy, trading as Tech Valon, is the data controller responsible for processing.

Prior consent

Until you have made a choice, we only place technically necessary cookies. Statistics, preferences, and marketing cookies are only activated after you have given your explicit consent. Rejecting is as easy as accepting – both buttons are equivalent and placed side-by-side – and has no impact on your order. We use Google Consent Mode v2: as long as consent is missing, advertising data remains redacted (ads_data_redaction) and Google services do not place any cookies. If you reject a category at a later date, we will remove the cookies already set for that category.

Proof of consent

For each choice you make, we store locally in your browser which categories you have enabled or disabled, the timestamp, a unique consent ID, and the version of this policy. This allows us to prove that consent was given freely, specifically, informedly, and unambiguously, as required by the GDPR. No cookie is set for this purpose.

Third parties and data transfer

Statistics and marketing are handled via Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4), which acts as a data processor. Data may be transferred to the United States based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and additional Standard Contractual Clauses. IP addresses are anonymised, and Google Signals and ad personalisation are disabled.

Adjust or withdraw your choice

You can change or completely withdraw your consent at any time. We will in any case ask for your consent again after six months.

Deleting cookies in your browser

Regardless of our banner, you can delete or block cookies yourself at any time: in Chrome under Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data, in Safari under Settings → Privacy, in Firefox under Settings → Privacy & Security and in Edge under Settings → Cookies and site permissions. If you block necessary cookies, the shopping cart and checkout may no longer function.
