Sigma 16-300mm f/3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary Sony E-mount lens

This versatile Sigma 16-300mm f/3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary lens is specifically designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras with a Sony E-mount. It offers an impressive 18.8x zoom range, equivalent to 24-450mm in 35mm terms, making it suitable for a wide range of photography styles, from wide landscapes to wildlife. The lens also excels in macro photography with a 1:2 magnification ratio at 70mm, ideal for detailed close-ups.

The optical construction includes 1 FLD, 4 SLD, and 4 aspherical elements to minimise aberrations and ensure sharp, colour-accurate images. The advanced OS2 stabilisation system provides up to 6 stops of shake reduction, enabling sharp photos even in low light or at longer focal lengths. Thanks to the High-response Linear Actuator (HLA) autofocus motor, this lens offers fast and quiet focusing, which is beneficial for both photography and videography of moving subjects. The compact and robust 615-gram design is splash and dust resistant and features a water- and oil-repellent front coating, perfect for use in various conditions. A zoom lock prevents unwanted extension during transport.
