Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens

The Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens is a high-quality standard zoom lens, perfect for various photographic styles such as architecture, landscape, portrait and reportage. The lens delivers excellent edge-to-edge image quality, even at the maximum aperture of f/2.8. This constant aperture also ensures impressive performance in low light and offers great control over depth of field, resulting in beautiful bokeh thanks to the 11 rounded aperture blades. For both photographers and videographers, the lens offers fast, accurate and quiet autofocus, made possible by four XD linear motors, which minimises focus breathing. The optical design includes special ED and XA elements that counteract chromatic aberration and distortion, while the nano coating reduces flare. With a minimum focusing distance of 21 cm, this lens is also suitable for close-up shots. The construction is dust and moisture resistant, allowing the lens to be used in various conditions. This second generation is significantly lighter and more compact than its predecessor, contributing to better balance and ease of use, especially during longer photo sessions or when the lens is used on a gimbal. The lens is compatible with all Sony E-mount cameras and is a versatile choice for both hobbyists and professionals looking for a premium standard zoom lens.
