Sony E 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 PZ OSS II Lens

The Sony E 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 PZ OSS II lens is specifically designed for Sony APS-C mirrorless cameras and offers a versatile zoom range of 24-75mm (full-frame equivalent). The compact and lightweight design, weighing only 107 grams, makes it an ideal travel partner. The lens is equipped with advanced autofocus via a linear motor, ensuring fast and precise focus, even when tracking fast subjects such as animals and children. This performance also supports high continuous shooting speeds up to 120fps and 4K 120p/FHD 240p video recording.

Optically, the lens delivers high resolution across the entire zoom range with minimal colour dispersion and a clear image, thanks to four aspherical and one ED element. The smooth and quiet power zoom function, combined with autofocus during zooming and improved optical image stabilisation (OSS), makes this lens particularly suitable for videography. It minimises camera shake and manages focus breathing on compatible cameras, resulting in stable and professional videos. The variable aperture contributes to the compactness without sacrificing performance.
