Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 DC (A) F/ X-Mount lens

The Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC Art is an advanced zoom lens that builds on the success of its predecessor, the Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM Art. This lens is specifically designed for mirrorless APS-C cameras with a Fujifilm X-Mount and offers a constant maximum aperture of F1.8 throughout the entire zoom range. This makes it extremely suitable for low-light shooting, such as indoor and night photography, and creates beautiful background blur (bokeh).

With an expanded focal length range of 17-40 mm, equivalent to 25.5-60 mm in 35mm format, this lens offers versatility for various photographic genres, from landscapes and reportage to portraits. The compact and lightweight design, with a weight reduction of over 30% compared to its predecessor, makes it ideal for travel and everyday photography, as well as video productions. The optical construction, consisting of 17 elements in 11 groups, guarantees excellent image quality with minimal distortion and clear details, even at wide apertures. The lens is equipped with fast and quiet HLA autofocus, an internal zoom mechanism, and minimal focus breathing, ensuring optimal performance for both photo and video. Additionally, the lens is dust- and splash-resistant and features a water- and oil-repellent coating on the front element.
