Canon RF 28-70mm f/2.8 IS STM lens

The Canon RF 28-70mm f/2.8 IS STM lens is a versatile and powerful standard zoom lens, perfect for various photography purposes such as travel, street photography, reportage, and portraits. With a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 across the entire zoom range, this lens delivers excellent performance in low light, allowing for faster shutter speeds or lower ISO values. The integrated 5.5-stop image stabilisation ensures sharp, stable images, even at longer shutter speeds or in combination with a compatible camera for a boost up to 8 stops. STM technology enables fast, accurate, and virtually silent autofocus, which is ideal for both photography and video recording. The lens is compatible with Canon EOS R system cameras, including full-frame and APS-C models. With its relatively compact size and light weight of 490 grams, the lens is a practical choice for the demanding photographer. Optical quality is ensured by 2 UD and 2 GMo aspherical lens elements that minimise chromatic and spherical aberrations, supported by a Super Spectra coating against flare. A 9-blade aperture ensures beautiful, smooth bokeh. Operation is simplified by a programmable control/focus ring and an AF/MF/CONTROL switch. The lens comes with an E-67 II lens cap, dust cap, and manual. Please note: the lens is not weather-sealed like the L-series lenses.
