Sony Cinema Line FX6 video camera

The Sony Cinema Line FX6 video camera is specially designed for ambitious filmmakers and freelancers striving for cinematic quality without compromises. This camera combines a lightweight, modular body with outstanding performance. At its heart is a 10.2 megapixel full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor and the BIONZ XR processor, which together provide impressive 4K image quality at 120 frames per second. Even in challenging lighting conditions, the FX6 delivers a dynamic range of over 15 stops and a dual base ISO of 800/12800, offering flexibility for various shooting scenarios. The built-in, electronically variable ND filter, smoothly adjustable from 1/4ND to 1/128ND, allows for precise exposure control.

The camera supports S-LOG3 and S-Cinetone picture profiles, where S-Cinetone mimics the popular soft, vibrant tones of the Sony VENICE camera. For fast and accurate focusing, the FX6 is equipped with Fast Hybrid AF and Real-time Eye AF, which uses AI to detect and track human and animal eyes. Various connections, including 12G-SDI and HDMI for 4K, guarantee a professional workflow. The robust construction and ease of use make this camera a versatile tool for any production.
