The Sigma 56mm f/1.4 DC DN (C) for Canon RF-mount is a fast prime lens, specifically designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras. This addition to Sigma's Contemporary line offers Canon RF users a compact and powerful lens that excels in low-light situations. The lens delivers excellent image quality even at a fully open aperture of f/1.4, resulting in sharp images and a beautiful, blurred background (bokeh). The fast and quiet autofocus system, driven by a stepping motor, is optimised for the Canon RF-mount and supports both still images and continuous autofocus for video. Thanks to the Super-Multi-Layer coating and specific construction, the lens is highly resistant to flare and ghosting, even in backlit conditions. The robust construction includes a dust- and splash-proof mount with a rubber seal and a brass bayonet. The included lens hood contributes to the image quality.
