Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG II Art Sony E-mount lens

The Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG II Art is an extremely fast wide-angle lens, designed for full-frame cameras with a Sony E-mount. This lens is known as Sigma's best 35mm f/1.4 to date, with excellent image resolution and a surprisingly compact and light design. It features a completely new optical construction with 15 elements in 12 groups, including four aspherical and two SLD glass elements, which effectively suppress aberrations and deliver an exceptional level of detail across the entire frame, even at maximum aperture. This results in a beautiful natural bokeh, free from colour fringing, thanks to the 11 rounded diaphragm blades. The lens uses a Dual-HLA drive for fast, quiet and accurate autofocus, for both stills and video recording. The AAC coating minimises reflections and ghosting for clear, high-contrast images. The robust, dust and splash-proof design, including a water and oil-repellent front coating, ensures reliability in various shooting conditions. Convenient features such as two customisable AFL buttons, an aperture ring with click and de-click function and a locking mechanism for the lens hood increase ease of use. The effective suppression of 'focus breathing' also makes this lens an excellent choice for professional videography.
