Sigma 15mm f/1.4 DC Contemporary wide-angle lens for Fujifilm X

The Sigma 15mm f/1.4 DC Contemporary is an excellent wide-angle lens, specifically developed for APS-C cameras with a Fujifilm X-mount. This lens is known for its impressive brightness with a maximum aperture of f/1.4, delivering outstanding performance in various lighting conditions. The compact and lightweight design makes it particularly mobile, ideal for street photography, landscape photography and portraits, as well as video recordings. Weighing only 225 grams and with a length of 65.1 mm, it is approximately 50% lighter than its predecessor, the 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary, greatly increasing the flexibility for creative expression. The lens delivers uncompromising sharpness across the entire image, even at full aperture, and minimises flare and ghosting thanks to an advanced optical design. The lens features a fast and responsive stepping motor for precise autofocus, for both photos and videos, and effectively suppresses focus breathing. An aperture ring provides intuitive control. Furthermore, the construction is dust- and splash-proof, and the front lens has a water- and oil-repellent coating, making it suitable for use under challenging conditions.
