Canon RF 85mm f/2.0 Macro IS STM lens

The Canon RF 85mm f/2.0 Macro IS STM is a compact and lightweight lens, specifically designed for enthusiast photographers looking for a versatile lens for everyday use. Thanks to the fixed focal length of 85mm and the large f/2.0 aperture, it is extremely suitable for capturing beautiful portraits with a stunningly blurred background. The lens features effective 5-stop optical image stabilisation, which helps in creating sharp images even at slower shutter speeds or in less-than-ideal lighting conditions. The STM motor ensures fast, smooth, and also quiet autofocus, ideal for both photography and video. This lens also shines in macro work, with a minimum focus distance of just 35 centimetres and a 0.5x macro magnification, allowing you to capture the smallest details pin-sharp. The nine aperture blades contribute to a very smooth bokeh. The lens is equipped with a handy Lens Control Ring, allowing important settings such as Tv, Av, and ISO to be adjusted directly. The Super Spectra coating reduces reflections and flares, further increasing image quality. Weighing only 500 grams and with compact dimensions, this lens is easy to take along for various creative photographic purposes.
