Canon RF 45mm f/1.2 STM lens

This Canon RF 45mm f/1.2 STM lens combines a natural viewing angle with an exceptionally bright f/1.2 aperture. The lens is specifically designed to offer creative freedom, even in limited light conditions. It stands out as the first Canon RF f/1.2 autofocus lens to weigh less than 400 grams, making it an accessible choice for photographers who enjoy working with a wide aperture.

The fast maximum aperture of f/1.2 provides unprecedented control over depth of field, allowing subjects to be beautifully isolated against a soft, impressive background blur, also known as bokeh. The 9-blade circular aperture enhances this artistic rendering of out-of-focus areas. Thanks to its light sensitivity, the lens also performs excellently in dark environments. The integrated STM autofocus motor ensures smooth, fast, and quiet focusing, even with a very shallow depth of field, so the photographer can concentrate on the composition. With a focal length of 45mm, the lens mimics a perspective similar to the human eye, ideal for portrait and street photography. The thoughtful design includes a durable metal mount and separate control rings for focusing and camera settings. With a filter size of 67mm and a minimum focusing distance of 45 centimetres, this is a versatile lens for various applications.
