Canon RF 35mm f/1.4 L VCM Lens

The Canon RF 35mm f/1.4 L VCM is a groundbreaking hybrid lens designed for both stills and videography. This versatile lens offers a wide field of view and a remarkably fast f/1.4 aperture, ensuring excellent performance even in challenging lighting conditions such as golden hour or nocturnal scenes. The 11-blade iris provides a beautiful, soft bokeh, artistically isolating the subject. Notably, it features a dedicated aperture ring for video recording, enabling smooth, manual aperture control and minimising focus breathing, which is essential for professional video productions.

The lens is equipped with a combination of Nano USM and the even faster VCM (Voice Coil Motor) technology, resulting in exceptionally fast and precise autofocus. The robust L-series construction, including fluorine coating on the front lens, provides protection against dust and dirt even under harsh conditions. With aspherical and UD lens elements featuring Super Spectra and ASC coatings, the lens delivers pin-sharp images with minimal reflections and ghosting. Furthermore, this model is lighter than its EF predecessor, increasing ease of use during longer shoots. A configurable function button and lens control ring provide additional customisation options for intuitive operation.
