Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM lens

The Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM is a versatile lens ideal for both everyday photography and specialised macro shots. With its natural wide-angle perspective and a minimum focusing distance of just 17 centimetres, it makes it possible to take impressive close-ups with a 0.5x magnification factor. This lens performs excellently, even in low light, thanks to the large maximum aperture of f/1.8, which provides beautiful images with an attractive blurred background.

Designed for Canon EOS R mirrorless cameras, this lens combines a compact and lightweight size with robust functionality, making it a perfect choice for travel photography, street photography, and documentary work. The integrated Hybrid IS image stabilisation corrects both shift and tilt movements, which is crucial for sharp handheld shots, particularly in macro photography. The STM motor delivers quiet and smooth autofocus, making this lens equally suitable for videography. Although the lens is not dust- and splash-proof, it offers high image quality and creative possibilities for various photographic applications.
