Canon RF 28mm F2.8 STM lens

The Canon RF 28mm f/2.8 STM is an extremely lightweight and compact lens, ideal for Canon's full-frame EOS R mirrorless cameras. With its versatile focal length of 28mm and slim 'pancake' design, this lens is perfect for everyday photography, travel, and street photography, as it is easy to carry. The optical construction, consisting of 8 lens elements in 6 groups, includes three aspherical elements that effectively counteract spherical aberrations and distortion, resulting in sharp images with accurate rendering. The 7-blade aperture provides a soft and attractive bokeh.

The lens is equipped with a quiet and fast STM stepping motor for autofocus, offering benefits for both photography and videography. The Super Spectra coating minimises reflections and flare, ensuring higher contrast and better colour neutrality, even in challenging lighting conditions. A configurable control ring offers the ability to switch quickly between manual and automatic focus, and for adjusting settings such as aperture, ISO, or exposure compensation.
