Sony E 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 G OSS Super Telephoto Zoom Lens

The Sony E 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 G OSS lens is specifically designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras and offers an impressive super telephoto zoom range from 70mm to 350mm, equivalent to a 105-525mm focal length on a full-frame camera. This makes the lens exceptionally suitable for various photographic genres, including sports, nature, and landscape photography. The integrated Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation effectively minimises camera shake, resulting in sharper images even when shooting handheld or at longer shutter speeds.

This lens distinguishes itself through its high-quality optical and mechanical design. The XD linear motor provides fast, quiet, and precise autofocus, as well as responsive manual focus, essential for capturing fast action. The optical system includes one aspherical element and three extra-low dispersion elements, which collectively counteract various aberrations to produce clear and high-contrast images. The seven-blade diaphragm contributes to an attractive and soft bokeh, ideal for isolating subjects. Furthermore, the lens features a dust and moisture-resistant construction, ensuring reliability under challenging weather conditions. Weighing only 625 grams, this super telephoto zoom lens is also surprisingly compact and easy to carry.
