Nikon Z8 Mirrorless Camera Body

The Nikon Z8 is a compact and lightweight mirrorless camera that inherits many of the advanced technologies from the Z9. This hybrid camera combines a robust construction with a slimmer, more portable body, making it ideal for both handheld use and in combination with gimbals. At its heart is the 45.7 megapixel stacked BSI CMOS full-frame sensor, which offers an excellent balance between high resolution, fast readout speeds, and impressive low-light performance. The stacked design minimises rolling shutter, while the BSI design improves noise levels across the extended ISO range of 32-102400.

Powered by the Expeed 7 image processor, which is ten times faster than that of the Z7 II, the Z8 delivers exceptionally fast AF speeds, high burst shooting rates, and smooth video performance. The camera can capture continuous shots at up to 120 frames per second for 11MP JPEGs, with full AF/AE support. For RAW images, the camera achieves 20fps and can buffer more than 1000 raw images in a single burst. Thanks to the shutter-only design, without a mechanical shutter, the Z8 operates completely silently and offers a maximum shutter speed of 1/32000 second. Video recording is possible in 8K30p for over two hours, and in 4K up to 120p. The camera supports internal 12-bit N-RAW and ProRes RAW recording up to 8.3K60p, providing great flexibility for post-production and colour grading. The 493-point AF system with deep learning technology ensures fast and accurate focusing, including advanced subject and eye detection. The system works effectively in low-light conditions, down to -9 EV. Illuminated buttons and a sensor shield increase ease of use and durability.
