Nikon Nikkor Z DX 35mm f/1.7 Macro

This Nikon Nikkor Z DX 35mm f/1.7 Macro lens is a versatile prime lens, ideal for both creative photo and video shooting, specifically designed for the DX-format Z-mount. With its exceptional f/1.7 speed, the lens delivers impressively soft bokeh and guarantees extraordinarily sharp close-up focus. It brings out every detail vividly and fascinatingly, even in low light.

The maximum reproduction ratio of 1:1.5 corresponds to a 1:1 magnification on a full-frame camera, enabling detailed macro shots. Thanks to the 35mm focal length (equivalent to 50mm on full-frame), this lens is widely usable, from travel photography and portraits to landscapes and food photography. The natural perspective rendering ensures intuitive compositions.

With a minimum focus distance of just 16 cm, resulting in a working distance of 7.2 cm from the subject, you can get exceptionally close for razor-sharp details. The f/1.7 aperture offers plenty of creative possibilities, with beautiful depth of field and bright images, even at low ISO values. The compact and lightweight build makes the lens perfect for on the go.

The lens is also excellently suited for video, with a fast and virtually silent stepping motor (STM) for autofocus, which works perfectly with the subject detection of Z cameras. Focus breathing is suppressed for smooth focus transitions. The silent control ring can be assigned to various functions, such as manual focus or aperture control, for a seamless workflow during filming.
