Nikon FTZ II Mount Adapter

The Nikon FTZ II mount adapter is an essential accessory for Nikon users who want to continue using their existing collection of F-mount lenses on the newer Z-series mirrorless cameras. This improved model offers optimised ergonomics compared to its predecessor, the FTZ adapter, allowing photographers to work more comfortably, even during vertical shooting and while wearing gloves. The more compact design ensures there is more room for a firm grip on the camera.

This adapter guarantees full autofocus and exposure functionality for a wide range of F-mount lenses, including telephoto, wide-angle, and macro lenses equipped with a built-in autofocus motor. Automatic exposure control is also compatible with hundreds of F-mount lenses. A significant advantage is the advanced image stabilisation: when a lens with integrated VR is used, the camera-driven detection of roll movements complements the lens-driven compensation of pitch and yaw movements. For lenses without VR, the camera takes over compensation for all types of camera movement, resulting in sharper images.

The FTZ II adapter is not only functional but also aesthetically designed to perfectly match both Nikon F-mount lenses and Nikon Z cameras, thanks to consistent colour and texture. The robust construction, with rubber seals on the joints and around all buttons and switches, offers excellent protection against dust and splashes. The lightweight yet durable aluminium alloy housing makes the adapter suitable for use in various conditions, making it a reliable partner for every photo session. It allows photographers to embrace sustainability by continuing to utilise their valuable F-mount lenses within the modern Z system.
