Leica D-Lux 8 compact camera Black

The Leica D-LUX 8 is a compact camera that delivers the signature Leica experience in a user-friendly and portable format. The controls have been simplified and the ergonomics optimised for high user comfort, inspired by the popular Leica Q series. This camera features an improved OLED viewfinder with 2.4 megapixels and dioptre correction, providing a clearer image with higher contrast. Additionally, there is a 3.0-inch TFT LCD display with 1.84 megapixels. The autofocus is extremely fast and can capture up to 11 frames per second.

The D-LUX 8 is equipped with a 21-megapixel Micro Four Thirds CMOS sensor (17 megapixels effective) and a fast Vario-Summilux 10.9-34mm f/1.7-2.8 ASPH lens, equivalent to 24-75mm in full-frame terms. The camera supports seamless connectivity with the Leica FOTOS app and is the first D-LUX to work with the versatile DNG format. An included flash unit increases versatility. The optical image stabilisation in the lens helps reduce motion blur when shooting and filming handheld. For video recording, the camera supports 4K resolution up to 30 frames per second.
