DJI RS 5 Combo stabilizer

The DJI RS 5 Combo stabilizer is an advanced tool for videographers looking for optimal stability and control while filming. This compact device, an evolution of the successful RS series, combines an impressive payload of 3 kilograms with the latest 5th generation RS stabilisation algorithms. This makes the RS 5 ideal for both solo filmmakers and professional crews wanting to capture dynamic shots without compromising on stability or creative freedom.

A key innovation is the optional RS Enhanced Intelligent Tracking Module. This allows you to select and follow subjects directly via the gimbal's touchscreen, making a smartphone unnecessary. The advanced system can track people up to 10 metres away and quickly reacquires the subject if it leaves the frame, resulting in extremely precise shots in various environments. The stabiliser is designed for speed and precision, featuring Teflon™-coated balance components for minimal friction and fine-tuning knobs for millimetre precision. A Z-axis indicator provides visual feedback during adjustment.

The included Electronic Briefcase Handle significantly improves ergonomics for low-angle shots. This handle, which attaches to the NATO port without tools, provides direct access to essential functions via a built-in joystick and buttons, ensuring stable footage and intuitive camera control. Despite its light weight, the RS 5 delivers robust performance, with a 50% increase in motor torque for unprecedented stability during fast movements. The battery fully charges in just one hour thanks to 65W PD fast charging and offers up to 14 hours of operating time. The 2nd generation automatic axis locking ensures quick deployment and seamlessly supports vertical filming for social media content without the need for rebalancing.
