CAMP Snap CS-8 Digital Video Camera with Retro Look

The Camp Snap CS-8 Digital Video Camera combines a retro design with modern functionalities for a unique filming experience. This camera is specifically designed to capture moments with an analogue, vintage feel, partly thanks to the built-in film-style filters and various aspect ratios. Without a display, the CS-8 encourages an intuitive approach to filming, ideal for spontaneous clips and creative content that is immediately suitable for social media.

Users can easily switch between different aspect ratios such as 9:16 for vertical videos, 16:9 for widescreen, 1:1 for square images, and 4:3 for a classic home video look. The five available film filters range from a neutral rendering (STD) to softened (VTG1), warmer (VTG2), and an 8mm simulation (ANA) at 18 frames per second, complemented by a high-contrast black and white filter (B&W). This allows the user to immediately determine the mood of the video without the need for post-processing.

The camera is equipped with a fast f/2.0 lens and a 1/2.7 inch sensor, with a fixed focal length of 3.29mm, providing a natural viewing experience for POV and reportage-style shots. Digital zoom (8x) is available via the T and W buttons. A pre-installed 4 GB SD card offers approximately 30 minutes of recording time and can be expanded up to 128 GB. The camera has a built-in microphone and a 3.5mm jack for an external microphone, as well as a cold shoe mount for accessories. Analogue gauges show the battery and memory status.
